Aviation Industry specialist publication reports on key leadership changes within Gol Linhas Aéreas. ## Leadership Change at Gol Linhas Aéreas Gol Linhas Aéreas has announced the appointment of a new CEO, following the departure of Celso Ferrer. Ferrer, who served as CEO for the last four years, will join Boeing as its new president for the Latin America and the Caribbean regions. The change in leadership comes as Ferrer leaves the company after more than 20 years of service. During his tenure, Ferrer played a significant role in shaping the history of Brazilian aviation. ## New CEO at Gol Linhas Aéreas André Fehlauer has been appointed as the new CEO of Gol Linhas Aéreas, effective from September 2026. Fehlauer returns to the company, where he previously spent eight years as CEO of Smiles, the airline’s loyalty program, in Argentina and Brazil. Prior to his appointment, Fehlauer worked as the CEO of Livelo, a Brazilian loyalty program, and held positions at Citi and Credicard. The company has expressed confidence in Fehlauer's ability to lead the airline, stating that his appointment ensures continuity in Gol's vision and leadership. Additionally, Albert Perez, currently Gol’s CCO, will take on additional responsibilities as president of Gol Linhas Aéreas.
